SKIN CARE FOR BUSY PEOPLE

Alright. How many of you love your skin? All of us right. Skin is the most important thing. It enhances our beauty as well as our appearance. Skin care is very essential for a good healthy lifestyle.

So this is for all busy people who feel like skin gets sidelined due to work pressure. Drink tons and tons of water in a day. I know you guys might have a problem keeping track of this so a better way to remember is the WATER APP. Download this app from the store and put in as 12 glasses of water per day. This will be more than enough to keep your skin shining and glowing. Moisturize every night before you go to bed. The next day morning your skin will be glowing as bright as the sky! Don’t keep changing body wash and soap products. It tends to make the skin rough. Try and stick to one product. Do not use scrub regularly. Scrubbing once in a week in more than enough to keep the glow intact. Eat good and healthy food. Most importantly, Smoothies! Drinking smoothies made out of fruits and vegetables is the best way to preserve the glow. Use sunscreen (SPF) whenever necessary.

These above tips should help you in keeping and maintaining the glow of your skin intact! Don’t neglect this even for the world.

SHOULD BOYS AND GIRLS BE TAUGHT IN DIFFERENT CLASSES?

This is a serious topic that I’ve always wished fo address. But the fire in me started shining even brighter when I saw an issue on this on the news just a few days ago. Are co-Ed institutions wrong?

If people really had a problem with guys and girls being in the same classroom, then I guess the whole point of having a co-ed institution is pointless. If we really had to segregate them on the basis of gender, we could’ve just had only girls and boys colleges like nasser, villa mary etc. I’m not saying there’s anything wrong with colleges like that. I’ve personally enrolled in a girls college and it’s truly a bliss to be studying there! I just want to put a small point our there that guys and girls can many a times be really good friends. I don’t know why this society even after so many years of independence and even after attaining the modernity that it has, still harbors such primitive thinking. Just because a few other people have committed “mistakes”, it doesn’t mean that we have the right to generalize everyone and just sauced co-Ed’s. I’ve been in co-eds all my life and it’s great.

I just wish people really understand that segregating people on the basis of gender isn’t the best thing to always do. Going to the college because of its quality and not because of any other reason is always the wisest thing to do, I think that’s why I’ve enrolled myself in Francis! How many of you agree?

HOW ARE BOOKS ALWAYS BETTER THAN MOVIES?

So have you ever seen how popular books are always turned into movies? Some of the best examples being twilight, divergent and many more. Is it just me or are the books always better than movies?

I’ve had a few people come to me and tell me that, “you feel this way cause read the book first”. But this has happen to me even when I’ve quite a few times seen the movie first and then the book. Maybe it’s just me. But I always feel like books have so much substance in them, that it’s almost difficult for the movies to mimic such intensity. It’s difficult to create such a vision in books. Kudos to all those wonderful writers. The first one is always the best. And maybe that’s why, the book that was written first will always be the fresh and special one. And the movie that tries to replicate the book and break it down into different scenes just doesn’t have that effect.

What do you think?

CBSE VS SSC

There must be people who must’ve studied in either CBSE or SSC. But have you wondered what the experience of those people might be who have studied till 10th in CBSE and the rest in state syllabus. Well, I’m talking about myself now.

I feel boggled up with the fact that how on earth can people think that SSC is easier than CBSE? You might as well do all the research that you like, you’re sure to find that the syllabus in SSC is a lot more than what it is in CBSE. You have tons and tons to read in state syllabus. The major difference I find in both of them is that in CBSE, we can write our own points, we’re not asked to  just scan the entire textbook. It all just boils down to our understanding skills and data interpretation. And in SSC, a little bit away from the book is not accepted sportively. And in CBSE, we have constant activities throughout the ear to keep us busy. Like FA activities, project works etc. Every weekly test counts. This way students are forced to study from the beginning itself. In state syllabus, none of the tests count and neither are there project works. Just the last finals are the ones that matter. This, according to me, makes the students a lot more laid back and relaxed.

All in all, I feel like CBSE is what one must take if he really wants to gain that intelligence and make his way in today’s world. And for SSC, I feel like just good mugging up skills would put you on top of your institution.

IS POVERTY GETTING STRONGER?

India has always been a poverty stricken country. We’ve never really had a high Nation Income or PCY. Our standards of living have ever since become poor. Is there any diametric reason behind this?

My interest in economics takes to me to a few facts now. Unemployment being the major major reason. Today people of India have a big problem in employing themselves in decent jobs. The population has been increasing on such an alarming rate that the jobs we currently have now is not sufficient for all the people living in this country. This way, people are look for jobs in informal sectors. Informal sectors are inconsistent, their jobs offer no guarantee of decent standards or a steady income. People are even further pushed into shackles of poverty.

Somehow, the poor people are the ones who bear more children as they are uneducated. And they are further driven into deeper poverty because of the burden of a large family. And moreover, the taxes that the government puts on almost everything only makes things worse.

We do know that India has become a lot better than it was before and is one of the fastest growing economies of the world. But it truly will be a better place only when we don’t see those beggars lying down on streets anymore. Every tiny step makes a difference!

INDIAN TV SHOWS?

Ever seen a TV show and wondered how people come alive after a period of 10 years even after a whole lot of people saw them die while being crushed by a car in some kind of an accident? Too relatable?

I just don’t get how the makers come up with things like 15-20 years leap in the show but the people involved still look as young and as beautiful as they did before the leap. Sometimes, people just meet with accidents and lose their memory and gain the same within a second when they see their “beloved one”. Is this how amnesia works? I mean medical science would suggest otherwise. A couple that got separated ages ago (for whatever dramatic reason), come across each other after 15 years! And guess what, they still have feelings for each other. Who’s fate is like this. Really guys how many of you have really met your “school” love after so long! And somehow the make and female lead might have some major reason to get separated but millions of them to be together, whereas it’s exactly the opposite in real life. And who wears makeup all the time when at home ?! These are really people from a whole new planet.

I came really think of a million more reasons to say how unrealistic and unnecessarily dramatic a few Indian TV shows are! But don’t want to bore you guys with long unending content. I’m glad I spend more time watching Netflix. What do you guys think ?

HOW I DEAL WITH DEPRESSION?

One common thing for everyone at some point or the other in life is getting depressed at almost all tiny things that seem to hurt us in every way possible. I’m also human. So I also go through this every once in a while when something seems to go wrong. But the bigger part here is how I deal with it.

Whenever I feel like my life is taking a sad turn, I just lock myself in my room for quite a few hours and just cry my heart out. Silly right? But yes, I’m someone who cries for the smallest of things. Maybe that’s why my I deal with my emotions this fast. Crying always makes the heart lighter and keeps the heart stronger. I listen to songs of my favorite artists, which for sometime manages to distract me from my worries. I don’t know why but I suddenly begin to cut ties with all my friends and family and get some alone time. There are people for whom dealing with depression alone is a bad thing. They need a shoulder to cry upon. But for me, if someone tries to console me, it becomes worse for me to control my tears and it all comes out like a storm. Also, my love for desserts! Desserts cheer me up the most. And the next main thing on my list, a good amount of sleep. No matter how bad the day is, if I just get a good amount of sleep in my life, I feel more peaceful and calm.

So these are a few ways that work for me! How do you guys deal with those dull and dark days in your life? Do you have a magic mantra or does it just go with the flow?

CONTENT DRIVEN CINEMA VS STAR DRIVEN CINEMA?

So the star topic of today arrives! Which film do you think is better? Cinema that actually has a good content and message to give to the society or a movie that just works it’s numbers at the box office because of the ultimate craze the people have for a big superstar?

Ultimately, do we watch the star on screen or the story that we would want to carry with us back home? Why do big stars get such bug openings for their films? If the film belongs to a big star, the first day itself the films collection would be in crores and people waiting outside the theaters would be an inexplicable number. Star movies immediately have distributors running after producers for buying the film. Whereas in small movies, the first days openings aren’t that great, people start watching the movie only after the talk becomes a little popular after the first week. Bigger movies have bigger collections and high budgets. Whereas nothing like this happens in small movies. That’s why my dad always said, “content is what drives a film”. If the content is good, any movie will be recognized, if not sooner than at least later.

I don’t know when this trend of movies will change. If there’s anything I’d like to change about how the film industry works, then it would be the discrimination towards the smaller makers and actors. But slowly, we’re progressing towards it and trying to make it a success.

THOUGHTS I HAVE BEFORE GIVING AN EXAM

Is it just me or do all of you get goosebumps in the tummy a night before you give an important exam? What kind of effects are exams having on us?

I mean, if the exam isn’t an important one and it’s just something like a practice test where we know that the marks would not count, then obviously we wouldn’t stress. But when we give life changing exams like IIT, BIT SAT etc etc. the feeling is on another level. Tummy hurts, heart beats faster, our nights are going sleepless, almost feels like BP is going up. This is just how I’m feeling at the moment. Although, I’m an MEC student who has nothing like the above mentioned exams, but I do have another thing to ace which is my st Francis entrance test. I mentioned in yesterday’s blog that tomorrow is my test and the competition is super super high. My percentage just being 85, is making me feel worse at the moment. Is this what I was born for ? I might as well break down if I don’t qualify.

I’m confident enough about my GD, as I know that I will figure something out and speak. But my GK is extremely poor which is making it worse for me at the moment. I don’t think I’ll be at peace until my result comes out. I need all your good wishes. Love y’all!

STRUGGLES ALL BLOGGERS WILL UNDERSTAND

Helloo and welcome to my new blog. Today, I speak about the struggles all bloggers face. It’s not that I’m complaining. I love what I do and it makes me love writing even more. But there are a few struggles that all of us bloggers face which cannot be avoided. If you’re a reader, enjoy the blog. If you’re a blogger, get ready to relate!

So firstly, we as bloggers, we want to post something new everyday. There are bloggers who post everyday and some who choose a few days of the week as their posting day. And for those who post everyday, we have very limited time to look for inspiration and choose our topics. We don’t want to bore our audience with the same routine stuff. We always wish to provide something new and fresh and brighten their day. But looking for such topics is really are. I strongly believe that we cannot go looking for topics, the topic looks for us! This is where the first struggle begins. Now, as we finally find the topic for the day, we look for nice words and vocabulary to make our blog look decent and appreciative.

But before posting it, we have so many doubts and thoughts in our head. “Should we post this or not”? Will our readers enjoy this? Is the content good? Are there any spelling mistakes? And many more like this that are beyond explanation. But somehow, we finally gather the courage to post our blog. And here is not where the story ends my friends! After we post it, we immediately start thinking of our views. Why are they so less or why are they not increasing. I mean it’s obvious that within 2 seconds of posting, we can’t get like 2 million views. It takes a day for the views to actually increase. But our brain forgets that no matter what.

And then we finally reach, the stage of gathering views and nice comments from people, we are already in the struggle of searching for a new topic to write on the next day and the cycle continues. So readers ., how did you like this one? And if you’re a blogger, did you relate?
