HOW I DEAL WITH FAILURES

How often do you talk about your own failure? If you’re like me, not often. I think it’s a universal thing that we often try to cover up our failures.

It’s not cool to say that you’ve failed. We prefer to talk about success. That’s also true for most books, articles, talks, etc.

Yup, everything is always great. Except, it isn’t always great.

But what’s wrong with failing? And what is failure? It’s so subjective. I think we’re often too quick to judge ourselves.

In the moment, failure is this ugly thing that you want to go away quickly. When I look back at my own failures it’s the same. There are things like failed jobs, business ventures, relationships, etc.

I honestly don’t want to know how much time and money I’ve wasted on all the things that I’ve failed in the past. And every time, I felt like shit.

When people say, “fail fast,” it sounds nice, but the reality is that failure hurts.

It’s just not a good feeling to fail, especially not in front of the eyes of your family, friends, or other people.

Of course, you shouldn’t care about those things. But we’re still ONLY humans, right?

So when I talk about failure, I don’t mean that failing is easy or that it feels nice. If you enjoy failing, you’re probably an idiot. No, it’s hard. But that’s the whole point.

One day you’ll thank yourself for trying. Because without the failure, you would never be you.

And for the breakfasts beverage, you guys are more than allowed to consume coffee. You just have to be careful about adding full-fat whipping cream which has only about 1 gram of carbs. That’s all about breakfast. Now coming to the lunch, a decent salad made out of chicken, eggs, avocado, nuts, cheese, olive oil, Ora hey other favorite dressing. A plain soup that doesn’t consist of any pasta or cheese, and cauliflower rice, which is really simple to do at home too. This can be used as the best and closest substitute to rice or quinoa which cannot be cinsumee while on a keto.

Now coming to the evening part of the day, snacks! Some best homemade keto snacks are cheese crips, jalapeño poppers, boiled eggs, and chicken with a cheese dip. Iced coffee is a great beverage to go with! You guys can always come up with many more interesting recipes with the main ingredients of the recipes I’ve mentioned above.

Going to the dinner department, good sautéed noodles, with a good amount of vegetables, ham and cheese stuffed chicken breasts with a wholesome bowl of broccoli with a pinch of lemon just for taste, and hamburgers, and also lettuce wraps with chicken or any form of low carb dressing. It’s very important to keep it light yet stomach filling!

IS IT OKAY TO SKIP DINNER?

So many many people have asked me questions regarding skipping dinner and about how healthy or unhealthy it is for people who what to lose weight. This is my brief attempt at trying to answer all your questions.

There’s a saying “eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince, and dinner like a pauper”. This saying is true. However, it does not mean that you totally skip dinner. The key is to manage your time in such a way that no matter when you sleep, your last meal should be done between 7-8 PM. If you want to skip your heavy dinner, there are lot of other light alternatives like soups, salads, shakes, fruits, that can both fill you up and at the same time not pile up any extra calories onto your body.

BUT DO NOT SKIP DINNER ALTOGETHER!

WHY WEEKENDS ARE EXTREMELY IMPORTANT FOR ME?

Saturday and Sunday are literally the days of my life. I don’t ever think I wait for anything as much in my life as for a Friday evening. That feeling of comfort that the Friday evening gives you when you realize that the coming two days are going to be holidays!! It’s on another level. Can you guys relate?

Weekends are something that make me feel fresher and give me that chance to get rid of the entire week’s stress. Life is stressful guys, and we need something to help us de-stress. During my weekends, I make the most of it by watching movies and tv series on Netflix that I absolutely love doing. I get out of my diet routine and eat as much junk as I want to (not guilty). Listen to plenty amount of good music. Catch up with old school friends whom Ive lost touch with due to being in different places. Give my hair a nice treatment at the spa and very rarely when I feel like I have to, I also go for a massage session. I love watching movies on a Friday and Saturday night and that gives me utmost pleasure. Breaking that monotonous daily routine and doing something fun like eating as much junk as I want to, wake up literally at 12 PM. Go to cousins place and have fun. Sometimes, even go for shopping. Retail therapy helps!

So in short, the best time of my life is on Saturday and Sunday. I keep waiting for these 2 days all round the week. It gives me energy to start off and also de-stresses me to amazing levels. Since the weekend in just a day away, I wish all of you a happy and relaxed weekend. Enjoying is a must! You deserve it.

LIFE AT ST.FRANCIS

So in the yesterdays request blog, I found many of you wanting to see me review my new college st Francis. And I don’t blame your curiosity at all. I’ve written so many blogs on joining there and finally getting admission too. So today, I tell you what I feel about that place.

• REMARKS
Principal of the college has changed this year. This principal made some changes in the college to protect the college environment for garbage which I personally like very much. This college is always upto bringing a good change which I think is a wonderful thing.

• ENTRANCE PREVIEW
This was first referred to me through my dad as he had already been a chief guest for an event there and my aunt too is a teacher there. But I didn’t agree. Then I went on reading some reviews about it and got some information regarding the infrastructure, faculty and the value of a bachelors degree in the college. I then felt like the college really carries some values and is one of the best we have. After joining the college, I came to realize that I chose the right college for the 3 most crucial years of my life.

• FEE STRUCTURE AND FACILITIES
Fee structure of the college is feasible and worthy. The college has both academic and as well as non-academic aspects. Fees depends on the course selected. College fees are taken for teaching, library, maintenance, labs, sports and other extracurricular activities. So the fees are worthy enough.

• ADMISSION
The candidate who wanted to join the college should fill the details in a form through online. Then they have to get the hard copy to the college on the day of admissions. Admissions are based on the marks in 12th standard. Either state board or CBSC. Only BMS has an entrance test as they are very choosy about the people that they take in that course. It is the smallest batch with just 55-60 students per class and the course is amazing.

• HOSTEL FACILITIES
College hostel is mostly provided for Christian and Catholic students. All the facilities, food, security, etc., of hostel are taken care by the college. Hostel mess food is good. Every thing in the hostel goes in a systematic way. There are prayers, meets etc., for Christian and catholic students by the caretakers.

• ALUMNI
Senior students are really very helpful for new students or freshers who are not well known about the college academic procedure. One person out of these also gets elected to become the president and takes initiative to help the rest of the college.

• CAMPUS LIFE
It is a Womens college. College campus is full of green and attractive. Students enjoy coming to college. Peaceful environment. There are indoor stadium, volley ball court, throw ball court open for all the students at all the time. Labs are also available depending on the course. The canteen is great too.

• COURSE CURRICULUM OVERVIEW
The course curriculum of any course is divided into theory and practice. The students are given both theory and practical knowledge about the subject. The classes are divided into 5-day order. There are 4 classes of theory and one class practical once in 5 days of college.

• INTERNSHIPS OPPORTUNITIES
Many companies MNC’s come to our college for hiring the students for internships for the third years and jobs after the completion of the particular degree. I’ve seen many of my senior acquaintances bag jobs in one of the most reputed companies after passing out from here.

• COLLEGE EVENTS
This, by far is the most interesting and enthusiastic part of being here. Our college also has some historical events and fests. Our college has a club for nature named as Prakriti club. Club members celebrate a fest named Aavni which is the only nature fest in twin cities. There are many other interesting clubs like Arista, choir, etc. which students can be part of. Each department has their own club. Clubs conduct different events in the college for students of the college and also conducts inter college fests.

• LOAN/ SCHOLARSHIP PROVISIONS
College offers genuine and career developing scholarships. But I don’t have any idea about the education loan. I am hoping that this is as good as the other facilities of the college.

So all you inter girls out there, who want to give this a shot, take my advice and go for it. You won’t regret a single bit of being here. It is one of the best we have! Good luck for all your future endeavors.

CULT FITNESS FOOD APPS?

There are so many apps for people these days to maintain their fitness. Some popular ones being cult fitness, Healthy food etc. These are all the names of healthy food apps on swingy that prepares a diet chart for about 1 month for people and sends selective food items each day, that are supposed to keep a person healthy. But are they really healthy? Let’s analyze.

Sometimes their menu consists of roti with some curry and some light dessert and sometimes pulao made of rice or quinoa and millets. The curry usual,y consists of paneer butter masala or gobi. Is so much fat intake okay? And that too on a daily basis. People who want to remain healthy must cut down on too much fat intake. Fats shouldn’t be consumed everyday. It should be done once or twice a week. And high protein content too isn’t good for everyday consumption. We must see how our body reacts to the diet. It might not suit some people. The main point is to not consume too much of oily or greasy food. But can we trust these restaurants to really not add any preservatives or additives that could be harmful for us? They also provide with some fruit drink. Can that be considered free of extra sugar? We really don’t know the answer.

I think proper research is compulsory before taking on such things. And the reaction our body might give to this diet differs from person to person. So we all must fend for ourselves rightly with right amount of research and observation!

WHY BUSINESS MANAGEMENT IS A TERROR?

As you all know, I’ve enrolled myself in BMS 1st year, and the first semester of this course is actually pretty easy. Because this one just contains accounts from our first year. Journal, ledger, cash book etc etc. Easy breezy. Haha only for the first 2 months. After, there are accounts from our second year which is also not a tough nut to crack! But…. later beings the struggle. The third semester is a mixture of all new topics which we have never of before. It has mathematics subjects that have never been recognized as “quintessential subjects” taught at school. It just goes into too much depth and detail and since the people in that class carry a percentage of 90-95, because that is the initial cut off percentage for BMS, the competition levels are maddening. It’s so tough to handle economics, commerce, accounts, maths, french , world history, political science, management theory and practice all at the same time! Good luck to me for these 3 years.

HOW TO MAINTAIN HEALTHY HAIR?

Hello and welcome to new beauty blog! Today, I give you a few tips on how to maintain healthy, shiny, glossy and thick hair. Ready for it?

(1.) LOTS AND LOTS OF WATER is the key to have shiny long hair. Sounds cliche but really works. Water not only helps in making the shake shiny but also makes it thick and helps it grow more. Drink at least 10 glasses of water per day. Water also keeps problems like dandruff away.

(2.) EAT HEALTHY FOOD. Fruits and vegetables and tons of good protein intake is necessary to grow long and thick healthy hair. Food is very important to give hair the thickness and volume it needs.

(3.)A GOOD SHAMPOO, CONDITIONER, HAIR OIL. In short, having good hair products is very important. A few hair products might suit one person but might not work fro others. So finding the right one for our hair type, and sticking to only that one is important. Changing hair products again and again could be bad.

(4.)OILING REGULARLY. Just like food is nutrition for the body, oil is nutrition for the hair. Oiling hair at least 2 times a week is necessary for strong and healthy hair.

(5.)USING A HEAT PROTECTANT SERUM. So for all girls out there, whenever you straighten or curl your hair, using a heat protectant sis necessary to protect the hair from heat damage. Heat might make the hair dry and frizzy. A heat protectant helps!

(6.)TAKE A LOT OF VITAMIN E-: Supplements of vitamin E can be strongly found in either flaxseeds, olives, castor, fish, almond oil and in onion juice. Apple cider vinegar, aloe Vera masks, a good egg mask, chea seeds, rose water, coconut milk, are also excellent methods for effective hair growth!

ASSUMPTIONS PEOPLE HAVE ABOUT BLOGGERS

The first assumption being, we’re considered extremely rich. How we keep making money all the time. That’s totally not true guys. It’s very difficult to climb a ladder in this field. We develop a few audience only after a few months, which sometimes might even take years. We people need to be made out I’d patience.

The second one being a weird jealousy. Someone envies me because they feel I live a world of comfort and luxury. That’s not always true for each and every blogger. Just because we do something on a public platform that gets recognized, it doesn’t mean we’re living the most luxurious life. Bloggers have their own struggles too. And also one LAME assumption a few people have about us is.. “blogging ain’t a job.” Hello?! There are people who do this for a living and it’s not something that is easy-breezy. It takes a lot of effort to make the money that bloggers make. And also many people think we just make stuff up about things to write our blogs and get views. No, not true! We actually love those experiences and only then put it into our blogs to make it reach our wonderful audience.

This one was for all those people who were spreading hate on the blogger community. A few negative assumptions need to be addressed. I love all my audience who has been so wonderful and supportive. Way to go ♥️
