TIPS TO STUDY

Exams can be tough. It is a lot of pressure on both mind and body and can exhaust someone to the very core. However, here are 10 tips that might help students in the long run to deal with exam pressure

1.)Make sure that you always have a week’s time or more than that to prepare for your exams. If you start a day before, you’re sure to fail. Last minute studying must strictly be avoided.

2.) A proper healthy diet always helps in keeping both the body and brain fresh. Eating a balanced diet will help you concentrate and remember better. Fresh fruits, nuts, vegetables and juices are a great source of memory!

3.) Sleep is the best stress buster. No matter how stressful exams are, a good amount of sleep in the night helps in refreshing one’s brain and memory. Power naps also are advisable once or twice in a day to rekindle all the thoughts.

4.)Students must learn to organize their portion from day one. The day the dates of the exams are announced, students must prepare a timetable to decide on how they are going to spend the coming few days productively. This will make your work a lot more easier, organized and faster.

5.) It is advisable for students to try and refrain from using electronic gadgets like phone, iPads, laptops and television for long hours. This not only distracts them from their studies but also reduces concentration ability. A tiny sacrifice for a month ain’t that difficult right, mate?

6.)The last but not the least, students must try to keep themselves motivated at every moment. There might be times when you might feel like it’s almost impossible to crack this now or like giving up but students should try and understand that nothing can be mastered by just doing it once. Repeated revisions and keeping in mind the time factor as I already mentioned in the first one, will help students do well in their exams.

My deepest wishes for everyone preparing or giving their exams right now! I hope this helped you even if it was in the tiniest way possible 🙂 ALL THE BEST GUYS. Don’t stress.

INDIAN EDUCATION SYSTEM

The Indian education system has many loopholes in it. It does more harm than good to the students. I know many people might disagree, but this is just to put forth what I think is good and bad about our education system.

PROS-:

1.)DISCIPLINE-: The schools and colleges in India are very particular about the timings, homework, exams, attendance and almost every tiny aspect of a students life. Students are required to follow certain rules which is a good way of inculcating discipline. This will help them in the long run.

2.)EXPANSION OF KNOWLEDGE-: The Indian education system has a vast curriculum and imparts knowledge to students on various subjects. They include science, mathematics, English, Hindi, computers, GK, right from the primary classes. This helps students gain knowledge on vast and wide topics from an early age.

3.)CONCENTRATION-:The students are required to learn their lessons thoroughly in order to fetch marks for themselves. They look for different ways to concentrate and grasp better.

Now coming to the larger part of the blog, the cons.

CONS-:

1.)NO PRACTICAL KNOWLEDGE-: We cannot deny the fact that the Indian educational system lacks practical knowledge. Students are expected to understand even the trickier concepts verbally. There is no actual understanding of the subject. Textual writing and bookish language is necessary to obtain marks.

2.)MARKS ARE ALL THEY NEED-: It is all about getting marks. The teachers don’t bother to check if the students have actually understood the concept or not. Marks will be forgotten someday or the other but knowledge stays forever, this is something that the Indian education system has failed at.

3.)NO ALL ROUND DEVELOPMENT-: The schools do not contribute in all round development of the students. No effort is made to build personal character or physical health.

4.)STUDY PRESSURE-: The students are overburdened with studies. They study for long hours at school and are given piles of homework and project works to do at home and are also expected to do well in tests. This puts a lot of pressure on the young minds.

The Indian education system has been criticized time and again. There is a tremendous need to change in order to ensure proper development in all spheres of life.

ALL ABOUT DIETS

Low carb diets. High protein diets. Vegetarian diets. Vegan diets. With all this focus on dieting, how to figure out which one is the best? First, to start with the reasons behind dieting, people usually diet due to weight issues, sports, others may think they would feel better if they just lost a few pounds.

Are diets unhealthy?

Calories are extremely important to keep your bodies running well. Any kind of diet that misses calories is a harmful one. Extremely low fat diets can be very harmful for you.

It is very important to note that diets which restrict or eliminate any one food group completely can be harmful. A balanced diet is necessary to keep the body healthy. So a diet that says no to carbs, or any one diet that says completely avoid proteins is not the one for you. Although, you may lose weight first, these diets don’t work in the long run. Some people suffer from eating disorders like ANOREXIA and BULIMIA. Eating disorders require medical consultation right away.

Teens who wish to lose weight safely can always do that by eating healthy snacks and diets and exercise always helps in losing those extra pounds. Regular exercise also helps us feel healthy. The best way to diet is to eat a variety of healthy food. Aim to eat more fruits and vegetables, and drink more water instead of sugary drinks like coke, sprite, etc. Talking to a dietician could also be a safe option.

HOW TO BE HEALTHY?

1.)Exercise! Walk to school everyday if it’s close by, take the stairs instead I’d the lift, spend a little time at the gym burning those extra calories. For all the dance lovers, dance for sometime every day.

2.)Drink fat free or low fat milk and tons of water instead of soft drinks with tons of sugar.

3.)Eat as many fruits and veggies as possible. And eat a variety of protein foods like meat, beans, soy products and nuts. And also eat whole grains

4.) Never skip breakfast. People who skip breakfast tend to gain more weight.

HOW TO KNOW IF THIS DIET IS NOT GOOD FOR US?

Some of the warning signs that our diet is going out of control could be-:

1.)feeling out of control when you eat

2.)always being hungry

3.)restricting activities or avoiding major things for diet

4.)feeling dizzy or lightheaded from not eating

If you notice anything like this, it’s time for you to buckle up! And change a few eating habits with new ones.

HOW TO LOOK FASHIONABLE ON A BUDGET?

Some people love to shop whereas for the others, it’s a compulsion! So why not look break without breaking the bank? Here are nine tips to getting the fashion wardrobe you want while staying on your budget.

1.) DECIDE THE TYPE OF FASHION YOU REALLY WANT-:

Let us say you have 10,000 rupees on your budget! Would you buy just 1 tiny article from a high-end expensive brand like Burberry or buy more than 5-10 articles in a store like Neiman Marcus for the same amount! Are you brand conscious or are you willing to save money? That totally depends on the buyer’s perspective.

2.) REVIEW WHAT YOU HAVE-:

People tend to accumulate and hold on to things that are never or rarely used. Take some time and face your closet.

Do you have a ton of black things but no white?

What if you have 100 t-shirts and no party-wear clothes ?

What about shoes? Are they all sandals or all they all shoes ?

Do you have pants to wear for suitable occasions ?

You already have an idea of how you want your wardrobe to look. So start going through and finding what actually fits you perfectly and what might not have been such a good choice!

3.) SELL, TRADE

If you have a few nice things that you don’t really wear, consider selling them. This will surely ensure that you have more money in your pocket afterwards. Now that you’ve cleaned your wardrobe and made some money, you can see what you’re missing!

4.) TRY ONLINE SHOPPING

Rather than actually going to a store, try shopping online if you wish to maintain a budget! Retailers do not always offer the same deals in stores as their online counterparts because the cost of running a physical establishment can be considerably greater than for an online store.

These are a few ways that I find suitable for people who wish to do affordable yet fashionable shopping and shopping on a budget! I hope this helps you 🙂

WHO IS A SUCCESSFUL PERSON?

Who doesn’t want success? People crave success at every step of their lives. Nobody really wants to be a mediocre in their lives. But it is really unfortunate that people who have accomplished the greatest things in life are rare to find! I always find that most people are not committed to what they want and often take a few steps back fearing the negative outcome. This is a major setback.

There are a few traits that I personally think separates successful people from the rest!

1.) DREAMING BIG

Successful people always have big dreams. They dream big and work for every minute of their lives to make it true. They have the extreme hard work and dedication to keep going and the courage to face obstacles. It is rightly said, “When you aim for the stars, you will at least get till the moon.” Sadly, many don’t even aim for the ceiling, forget the stars and the moon!

The first step of getting into a successful life is getting out of the ordinary, I strongly believe! A person who thinks about success all the time will achieve it one day or the other. A person who thinks about failure all the time ultimately always lives in mediocrity.

2.)ALWAYS BEING ATTENTIVE

Do you know that beside having a strong desire of becoming successful, successful people always are the proactive ones who go and make things happen rather than waiting for them to happen! Take action and make your dreams a reality. We all know that it is not easy to live an extraordinary life, but that is what separates you from the ordinary. Success requires consistency. Consistent people always reach the top with their hard work and dedication.

3.) NEVER GIVE UP

The one thing that all successful people have in common is their one great virtue of never giving up even in the darkest times of their lives. The success to journey is not easy. There will be many hurdles and setbacks but a person who looks through them is someone who rises above the ashes like the Phoenix bird. Failures should be seen as learning lessons rather than hurdles. Great people never quit

4.)ALWAYS EXPECT THE POSITIVE

After having read some of the major success stories in the world, I ave observed that successful people always see the positive even in the worst situations, and always expect the positive outcome, no matter what they do! I strongly believe that everyone should do the same. It does not matter even if you are not successful right now. What matters the most is where you want to go and if you are willing enough to work for it. Ultimately, hardwork always wins!

If you want to achieve outstanding success in life, always read and learn from both failures and successes of successful people! Two hands are required to make a clap, similarly both success and failure is necessary to keep going in life. It gives life a meaning. Do what they do to make them successful and avoid their making the same mistakes.

So do you now know what makes a person successful ?

WHAT IF LIFE WAS IMMORTAL?

Have any of you ever wondered what it would be like to be immortal? It is the indefinite continuation of mental, physical, and spiritual existence of individual human beings. I believe that it is death that gives urgency to life. The very thought of never having an end to life is so fascinating yet so scary at the same time. Life is never the same, it changes in the blink of an eye. So it is natural for people to feel like immortality would be a blessing and a curse all at the same time.

Immortality may be considered a blessing for the optimistic and a curse for the pessimistic. It varies from person to person depending upon the various experiences one has had in their life. Inevitably, we grow weary in life and lose our charm and glowing personality. However, not everyone grows tired of it at the same time. It seems like a curse because we will have to see our loved ones perish, see the nature die, and go through things that we never ever want to go through. Life is a roller coaster ride and being on this ride for eternity is a massive challenge. Life is only worth living because of the people you spend it with. What will we do after we are done experiencing everything in life, good, bad and scary? What meaning will this life have left for itself if it lasted forever? We value life only because we know it has an end and we have to make the most of it only while we are alive.

“We only live once and we should enjoy every bit of it” people say. We should make our place in this world in such a way that even after we perish, our generations to come take us an example to live their own. Would this have any meaning if life was immortal? There is no point in living if you’re never going to die, I strongly believe. I also do believe that this want or quest for immortality will fetch us a fate worse than death. Acceptance of the rational reality is always a right thing to do, according to me.

Although I stated that immortality is bad, I would say that a balanced mindset would help an individual to understand whether the very thought of immortality is something that some people would write off or be amused with. All said and done, it depends on an individual’s perception.
