7 UNKNOWN THINGS ABOUT ME!

So today I share 10 things about me that you guys probably would not know.

1.) I am absolutely lazy. I might be spot on with my blogs but with other stuff, I’m really lazy and laid back. I don’t really believe in time management and that’s probably because I cannot mange time. I can take the authority of work but I’d do it only when I really feel like it.

2.) I love music and singing. Singing has been a great part of my life and I’ve already sung a private devotional song that’s uploaded on YouTube, produced by Madhura audio and composed by Sunil Kashyap. It’s almost like my life is incomplete without music.

3.) I’m not too much of an extrovert. I’m an easy person to approach and talk to, but not really someone who can mingle with people easily. Our first conversation might be really pleasant and warm, but it’d take me some time to just open up.

4.) I love reading books! They’re my best friends. Life just seems less stressful and easier with a little alone time with books. They give me deep insights on various things and just get my mind working.

5.) I cannot cook! I’m the most horrible cook anyone could ever hire. Except for turning on the gas and a few other basic stuff, I cannot do anything. Of I was probably thrown on some kind of Island to cook myself, I’d probably not survive even though I am pretty self sufficient in many other ways.

6.) I LOVE makeup. I know there are a few girls who are all about natural beauty and all that. And I appreciate that a lot. My friends and family personally that I look much better without makeup on. But this isn’t about looking good. I just love how makeup makes me feel.

7.) I am not a phone addict. I would be able to survive without my phone for any number of days. It’s a myth that people usually have about bloggers , that they are addicted to technology and phones, but no, blogging has nothing to do with that.

These are a few things that I thought you guys might not know!

TEEN OBSESSIONS

Hi all of you! How many teens are out there reading this? So what are today’s teens actually obsessed with. Again disclaimer-: this is not to generalize all teens, this might apply to a few and might not apply to a few. These are just a few common ones I’ve observed.

So firstly, I’d like to begin by saying teens are obsessed with looking good. Let it be a party, a get together or just a small outing, they need their hair, makeup, clothing everything to be on point! I guess this is just that phase of life where we want to be loved and appreciated and the mirror becomes the best friend. We could look at this for hours and hours together. Then coming to latest technology, teens love using techno things and prove themselves techno-savvy!! iPads, new phones, laptops, they use everything latest. And one other obsession I’ve recently found is the TIK-TOK obsession. This might be just a general one. But everyone is out there showing their acting skills. This honestly irritates me I really don’t know why! And also HEALTH! They stop eating regular food just because of the fear of getting fat! I mean, eat what you want. Too much gumming, and sometimes this makes a few teens look like body-builders almost. Pay attention to your cravings not your fat! Anything with confidence looks better. They LOVE clicking pics and then posting on every social media site that ever exists!!!!! These pics usually show their entire daily routine plain and transparent to the whole wide world. Like really ?

So these are a few obsessions I feel kids, umm sorry teens have. What do you think?

HAVE PEOPLE STOPPED READING BOOKS?

So my inspiration for this one.. was when I was talking to a friend yesterday and asked her about a book that I really really wanted to read and I thought she’d know cause she’s the biggest bookworm ever! But I was shocked with her response. She just told me some website and asked me to read it online.

That’s when it struck me. I realized that technology has made us so dependent on itself that even the small task of going to a bookstore feels like forever! And then I was informed of some app that gives us full books to read and also comment on how they are. People read reviews from on there, search for the same books online and read them online too. I’m not really too sure if this is something that should make me happy. With apps like kindle, people find this online experience faster and easier.

Starting from movie reviews to restaurant reviews to anything on this planet happens online! I really don’t like the way this is going. “Books are man’s best friends” people say. This doesn’t seem true in today’s scenario. So what’s your experience ? Do you still read books? Or are you also too techno-savvy?

WHY ARE WEDDINGS STRESSFUL?

So.. today I want to speak about WEDDINGS! This is the season of weddings. I guess, until August we will only be hearing about more and more on this. Now keeping in mind, my large family.. I am attending tons of weddings and I have started feeling like this is the most stressful thing ever. If attending it only feels this way, I wonder what the bride and groom feel like.

I know everyone says lovey-dovey things like “OMG SO CUTE, made for each other and all that but I’m just like, those 2 poor souls are wearing such heavy clothes that’s complemented with even more heavier Jewelry and their only basic work throughout the day is to smile at everyone who greets them! True story, sometimes we don’t even know who the other person is and we’re asked to hug them, greet them and just meeting one person like this is enough to ruin our day! When it’s a wedding, it’s even more prolonged and detailed. And now coming to the decorations and the shopping part, the stress of a wedding comes in before 6 months of the marriage! If proper time isn’t allocated, things don’t work. And to top that, makeup, dresses for all the different functions, rooms for guests, DJ, food, Shopping, venue, catering, decorations, etc MAN big work! I just wonder what will happen when I would get married myself. 😪😂

But having said that, CONGRATULATIONS to all the people whose marriages are round the corner. Nothing feels better than having a partner, a soul mate who’d stand with you at all times. ♥️ have a nice day 🙂 much love!

FIRST MEET WITH VIJAY!

So today I want to describe my first meeting with the #ArjunReddy rockstar Vijay Devarakonda. As you all know my dad is a filmmaker and he and vijay were associated with the all-time blockbuster “Pelli-choopulu” that went on to receive huge acclaim and awards. I never knew I’d become such a huge fan of vijay back then.

I met vijay at the pre release event of MENTAL MADHILO! He was the chief guest of the occasion and lightened the occasion up even more with his ever charming personality. I was sitting next to him for more than 2 hours and it was just mesmerizing. Just the way he would carry himself, the way he spoke and the utmost amount of regard and respect he had everyone, made me admire him more than just as a superstar! That event was more starring than ever. And it gained a huge amount of positive response from the audiences!

MEETING VIJAY DEVARAKONDA

I really don’t know where to start from!! This was my second time meeting him and OMG I’ve never been this overwhelmed because of anything in life! He’s such a rockstar. Such a humble and sweet person. For all those thinking, how did I get to met him.. my dad is a film maker! Vijay’s movie Pelli choopulu was directed by my father and he’s been the same ever since. No arrogance, no tantrums, meeting him for the second time too was as fascinating as the first! And the second surprise of the day was RASHMIKAAA! And I’m almost in love with her now. She’s the epitome of grace and generosity. I just cannot get over how beautiful that day was. Here’s a little grab from the beautiful day!

HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY!

I don’t even know how to express what I feel for this wonderful woman in my life. She brought me to this world and has made endless amount of sacrifices for me! I know I don’t thank her enough.. but this does not mean, I don’t feel the gratitude. I just don’t get enough opportunities to express it. But today, on the wonderful occasion of Mother’s Day, I would like to thank her for being my inspiration, support and before anything else, my best friend. Not even kidding, I don’t even need my “girl” friends if I had my mum next to me. Thank you for this amazing life and values you’ve brought me up with. I hope to carry them with me forever and cherish this relationship until my last breath! LOVE YOU MOMMY❤️❤️

INDIAN EDUCATION SYSTEM

The Indian education system has many loopholes in it. It does more harm than good to the students. I know many people might disagree, but this is just to put forth what I think is good and bad about our education system.

PROS-:

1.)DISCIPLINE-: The schools and colleges in India are very particular about the timings, homework, exams, attendance and almost every tiny aspect of a students life. Students are required to follow certain rules which is a good way of inculcating discipline. This will help them in the long run.

2.)EXPANSION OF KNOWLEDGE-: The Indian education system has a vast curriculum and imparts knowledge to students on various subjects. They include science, mathematics, English, Hindi, computers, GK, right from the primary classes. This helps students gain knowledge on vast and wide topics from an early age.

3.)CONCENTRATION-:The students are required to learn their lessons thoroughly in order to fetch marks for themselves. They look for different ways to concentrate and grasp better.

Now coming to the larger part of the blog, the cons.

CONS-:

1.)NO PRACTICAL KNOWLEDGE-: We cannot deny the fact that the Indian educational system lacks practical knowledge. Students are expected to understand even the trickier concepts verbally. There is no actual understanding of the subject. Textual writing and bookish language is necessary to obtain marks.

2.)MARKS ARE ALL THEY NEED-: It is all about getting marks. The teachers don’t bother to check if the students have actually understood the concept or not. Marks will be forgotten someday or the other but knowledge stays forever, this is something that the Indian education system has failed at.

3.)NO ALL ROUND DEVELOPMENT-: The schools do not contribute in all round development of the students. No effort is made to build personal character or physical health.

4.)STUDY PRESSURE-: The students are overburdened with studies. They study for long hours at school and are given piles of homework and project works to do at home and are also expected to do well in tests. This puts a lot of pressure on the young minds.

The Indian education system has been criticized time and again. There is a tremendous need to change in order to ensure proper development in all spheres of life.

CAN PARENTS BECOME BEST FRIENDS?

I know it’s really weird to talk about something like this. I’ve heard so many stories from my best friends who claim their parents to be their best friends. In fact, I personally feel my mother also plays the same role in my life. Starting from embarrassing stories to big fights with friends, I share almost everything with her and never feel awkward. However, some people totally disagree.

In my opinion, parents can play the role of a good friend in our lives. But one major problem that I feel needs to change is how our parents look at things. They might definitely say that they do understand what we feel and claim to think like we do but in reality, it’s definitely not the same. Parents can never think like kids. Kids are more worried about their happiness and parents are worried about the right and wrong. When people are cautious about the right and wrong, the happiness usually gets sidelined. That’s where the conflict begins. One tiny remark made by the kid stays in the parents mind forever. They start to panic for nothing. If it was really our friend, would they overthink this way? Definitely not. They would just give good advice and move on. We confide in our friends about the darkest secrets of our life, but this comfort might not be the same with our parents. But one thing that parents have is the the true faith and love that they have for us. In today’s world, most of the

friends are the “fake” ones who don’t really care about our wellbeing, but pretend as though it is of utmost importance for them.

In my opinion, a child should realize that when parents panic or become over caring and possessive, it is just because of the care and concern they have for us. Although, they might not understand us sometimes, my best advice would be to confide in them and patiently wait for them to process it. Be as open as you can and honesty is the way to go!

5-LETTER MAGIC

What if one day you wake up to realize the chirping of the birds is no more ?

What if one day the plants find themselves with no water for you to pour?

What if one day the sky’s blue is no more ?

What if one day the water of the lakes is no more?

What if one day the green of the leaves, the red of the roses, and the honey’s sweetness are no more?

You know what changes this no more to everything? The 5-letter word HUMAN!

SAVE NATURE! Make the planet a better place 💚 because we are the only ones who can make a difference.

I decided to write this small poem today. I hope you guys enjoy 🙂
